HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!
With our growing season complete, and over 7,000 vases donated, we have now turned our attention to making holiday evergreen and grapevine wreaths to keep us funded through the winter months.

Whew! We’re tired and glad to say we’re putting the farm into hibernation for two weeks around the Christmas and New Year holidays. Happy Holidays and Warm Wintering to all!

Special thanks to everyone who helped make the Secret Garden Fundraiser a magical evening on the farm!
We enjoyed great food, great music, great auction items and great support for the new property!

We are now able to put $20,000 toward the purchase of perennials, irrigation supplies and needed tools, and we are humbled by this tremendous outpouring of support from our community. Thank you!

Come dance in the Secret Garden fields with us as we raise funds to turn the open field into a field of flowers. American Honey will provide sweet tunes for dancing, and local chefs from Provisions, Tandem Unicycle, The Lion Chef, and Blissful Belly will provide delicious fare. Wine, beer, hard cider and nonalcoholic beverages will be available as well. Once the field is planted, we won’t have this opportunity again. Come join in the fun!

Dahlias are here! What a delight to see them harvested by the bucketful in all their glorious shapes and shades.

We planted extras in what is normally our vegetable garden, thinking we might need them this year… and we’re so glad we did.

We are using every flower we can grow, and we will happily purchase our veggies at the farmers market this year!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

Yakima’s first Farmers Market of the season opens on Sunday, May 12 at the Rotary Marketplace (the covered pavilion at 15 W Yakima Avenue). We’ll be there with farm-fresh flowers from 9 a.m. to 1p.m., and we hope to see you there, too!

Spring is in full swing and the farm is bursting with blooms and excitement!

Studio update -- The studio is now insulated, primed and ready for paint. Farm workshops -- Workshops are scheduled on the second Saturday of each month, April through October.

We are celebrating an early spring at Canyon Blooms Petals for Patients! — Tulips to brighten the dark winter!

Our forced tulip project was a wild success! We had spectacular growth and bloom quality, and we've found fresh tulips in January and February to be much appreciated by everyone.

What an incredible gift on cold, gray days. Thank you for your support with this successful trial project!

Happy New Year!
We started January with a week of rest and much needed time with family, then we officially kicked off our Studio Makeover Project!
In the past week we have been cleaning out and relocating all of our dried flowers from last season, organizing studio supplies, and preparing farm tools for next season.

They captured the beauty of these gorgeous flowers and showed them off in true Petals style. We are also grateful for the long, glorious fall that allowed us to finish putting the fields to bed. We are now busy finishing our seed cleaning and inventorying our seed stock for next year.
