Petals for Patients uses the therapeutic power of flowers to comfort those in our community facing hardship and suffering. As a nonprofit farm we grow, arrange and deliver flowers weekly to organizations throughout the valley. We deeply rely on community funding to fulfill our mission and outreach.
Our Mission
Canyon Blooms Petals for Patients was founded with the goal of bringing joy to those in our community who might be going through a difficult time. Dr. Kara Lolley was inspired to create “Petals for Patients” during the height of the Covid pandemic. She saw so much suffering and realized that she could bring a moment of joy to someone simply by giving the gift of flowers.
Our Story
We are growing! This past year Canyon Blooms purchased additional land for our farm. The area above between the road and the creek will become our expanded garden. Acquiring the land was the first phase. Preparing the area for more garden is phase two. That’s where you can help.
This new area will allow us to diversify our program by incorporating more perennials, which are fewer stems per acre but less labor intensive to grow. This fundraiser will go a long way to help cover the costs of bringing this land into production and keep this community project blooming.
